LEG9: THE ONE WHERE YOU WILL CURSE IGOR
This is a one long ride. But teams need to get to the sea, and this is the only way. A 115 kilometers long ride with almost 3000 meters of elevation will keep them in their saddles for a while. While the section is fairly easy to navigate it goes to very remote places and will keep them away from civilization for a while. From the river Kupa they will climb to the region of the national park Risnjak and pass beautiful meadows like Lividraga and Gumance. Once they cross their first mountain, they will enjoy some time of downhill by the Slovenian border until they have to cross another mountain, mountain Učka.
