LEG1: THE ONE WITH THE SPRING
As the sun begins to rise over the horizon, 32 teams will gather where the blue-green waters of river Slunjčica flow into the river Korana, in a beautiful watermill village of Rastoke. Ready to embark on their journey, the air is filled with excitement preparing for the grueling five-day challenge ahead. The race will take them through rugged terrain, across raging rivers, and over towering mountains. But for now, they will start with a simple trek along the river Slunjčica, a chance to warm up and get their muscles ready for the intense physical demands of the days to come. As they enjoy mesmerising colors of turqoise river Slunjčica, the sound of the rushing water is filling their ears and they are becoming aware of the camaraderie that comes with facing a challenge together.
