LEG12: THE ONE TO THE BED
With the finish line in sight, teams will paddle from the river Mirna into the Adriatic Sea, racing mostly against themselves to cross the finish line. The fatigue from the previous stages of the race will be unbearable but the emotions will start to set in. There may be tears of joy, shouts of excitement, and even moments of reflection as team members realize the extent of what they have accomplished. The finish line is a momentous occasion, a true celebration of the hard work and perseverance that went into the race. They will be welcomed with a cold beer and national pastry burek to sit down and get back to reality.
