LEG 5: THE ONE WITH GEO-TRAIL
On this 12-kilometer-long trek, teams will embark on a journey that offers them a unique educational experience. The course will lead them through part of the Rab Island Geopark, an area which is rich in geologically interesting features and rare flora. The specially formed rocks and unusual geological profile are sure to catch even the fastest teams' eyes.
The Rab Island Geopark project was conceived as a means of raising awareness among the local population and their guests about the island’s specific natural heritage.
