LEG 16: THE ONE WITH THE FINAL ROCKY RIDE
With the finish line almost in sight, teams will ride all the way from the north to the south of the island Krk. A combination of dynamic terrain configuration, various foundations, rides inland and by the sea, passing through historical sights, and beautiful nature will leave all teams firmly gripping their handlebars. On their route, they will pass the sandy Soline Bay, which is ‘guarded’ by town of Dobrinj. The climb to the town and the view from there, will leave everyone breathless. As kilometres pass and the anticipation of the finish line rises, the route will become easier, and when teams see the crowd - sheep in Baška valley, they will know that the end is just around the corner. At the finish, they will be welcomed with a cold beer and tasty national pastry to celebrate this victory! Our teams were the ones who rocked!
